Text:"On the line of the Newcastle, North Shields and Tynemouth Railway. John and Benjamin Green, Architects and Engineers 1838. The arches of this Viaduct (120 feet span each) consist of three ribs formed of Deals with Timber framing above. The Piers and Abutments are of stone.
